Autoprints: Traditionally used for negatives rather than digital files. Autoprint pricing includes the cost of a scan and a print. Standard autoprint pricing applies to manual selection of images from a CD/DVD as well as negatives. Custom pricing applies when Nulab manually edits parts of your image at your request (cropping the supplied file).

One of our most popular proofing options, Nulab's proof portfolios are a simple, yet sophisticated way to display proofs. Four options are available in either traditional photographic lustre surface paper or press options. You save time as your final product comes back ready to present to your client. Custom templates are available.

8x10" Traditional Photographic Sheets

Photographically printed 6 up on white or black pages.

Files rotated to a heads up orientation.

Traditional Binding options to bind either size of digital proof portfolio pages. Binding can also be used for mini super proofs or used to bind any entire direct output order in either 8x10" or 11x14" size.

Standard Binding Spiral wire bound with a translucent gray acrylic front and back cover. The maximum number of sheets that can be bound is 50. If your order contains more than the recommended amount of pages your order will be split evenly into a second binding with the appropriate costs. Second cover sheets will be provided only if indicated.

Premium Binding Spiral wire bound with a black leatherette album style front and back cover. The maximum number of sheets that can be bound is 45. If your order contains more than the recommended amount of pages your order will be split evenly into a second binding with the appropriate costs. Second cover sheets will be provided only if indicated.

Superproofs: Your images are collectively arranged by file name on to 20x30” sheets. 8 fixed sizes (no custom sizes) available. 20x30” sheets can be used as proof sheets for ordering and can be cut down at the studio as required. Superproofs can be ordered with an uneven black border with all sizes.

Mini superproofs: Your images are collectively arranged by file name on to 8x10” sheets. A mini superproof is approx 3x2”- 8 to a page. Mini superproofs can also be ordered with the uneven black border. The image size is then slightly under the 3x2” of the full frame mini. Service time is recommended as 3 days in lab. Traditional binding is available, retouching is not available when ordering any proofing service.

Traditional binding is available for these 8x10” sheets in either the standard (grey translucent) or premium (black leatherette) spiral binding.

Digital previews are the same high quality printing as our digital output service but at a special rate if you follow the proofing criteria.

All prints must be the same size. The 14 sizes are fixed (no custom previews available) and have a minimum order of 36 prints. If needed multiples apply to the entire order. There are 3 correction levels offered ('as is', 'premium' and 'individual') and 3 preview formats offered (full frame, black edge, and white edge). The correction level and format options selected apply to all prints within the same order. All prints are supplied as individual prints with the exception of 2.5”x3.5” images which are supplied on 7x10” sheets.

Service time is recommended as 3 days in lab. Retouching is not available on any proofing service.
